Digital Content Producer (Fixed Term)

We are on the lookout for a talented Digital Content Producer to work on a range of content for the University’s website and other digital assets.

You will need experience of writing and editing web copy that is tailored for different audiences and digital media, and optimised for search engines. You will be updating the content of the University’s website with information provided by University departments. 

You should therefore be able to make basic edits in HTML and will need a firm grasp of usability and accessibility best practice. You will also need experience of optimising images for the web (using Photoshop) and using Google Analytics to create regular reports.

Experience with one or more content management systems is essential and familiarity with Drupal would be an advantage. An eye for detail and the ability to work pro-actively, quickly and accurately is crucial in this role. 

We have a large and varied group of clients and stakeholders, so you will need excellent liaison and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, persuasively and tactfully.
