Based in dedicated studios on Harrow campus, the highly ambitious and successful fashion business and design programmes of the Westminster School of Media, Arts and Design works in close collaboration with the international fashion industry. 

Students on our Fashion courses undertake internships with leading companies including Burberry, Stella McCartney, Selfridges, Harrods, Tom Ford, Top Shop, Anya Hindmarch, Kenzo, Lanvin, Loewe, Celine, Mulberry, and Marc Jacobs, amongst other. In recent years, Westminster has produced a new wave of designers who show at London Fashion Week including Claire Barrow, Ashley Williams, Liam Hodges, and Roberta Einer. To aid professional sharing and exchange, fashion design and fashion business are co-located on campus.

The introduction of a new degree in BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing and promotion has opened up the opportunity / vacancy for a new position of a lecturer in Digital Fashion Marketing & communication at the Harrow campus of University of Westminster MAD school.  

We are seeking a passionate, creative and experienced academic staff in Digital content marketing, with strong fashion industry background and experience in developing industry links and who can underpin their teaching with research, supporting the overall vision of the University and helping us to improve our already successful reputation.

You will use your knowledge of the fashion industry together with your CAD skills in Photoshop, in-design and illustrator as well as digital strategies and digital content creation background to develop and lead creative and inspiring digital fashion marketing & communication modules in the field of fashion marketing and promotion. 

We seek candidates that have qualifications in a related field and have taught at undergraduate degree level. The post will combine the professional experience of the fashion business arena and industry, linked with innovative practice and academic expertise and ambition.

We are looking for a talented, passionate fashion industry professional with a strong academic background. The Fashion Industry Cluster is a growth area of the Westminster School of Media, Arts and Design and there are opportunities for the right candidate to develop the role and subject area further in line with the Cluster strategy.
