This post is full-time and permanent, working 35 hours per week. 

The Risk and Resilience Manager is responsible for leading our University-wide approach to risk management and business continuity, ensuring these approaches are up-to-date, effective and efficient, appropriately co-ordinated and understood across the institution. You will provide authoritative professional advice and guidance and ensure effective engagement with the risk management and business continuity frameworks by senior leaders and managers. You will have lots of interaction with different colleagues across the University, face-to-face, via Microsoft Teams and by email. You will work with colleagues in the Safety, Health and Wellbeing team to ensure alignment between our approaches to risk management, business continuity and incident management.

You should have a sound working knowledge of risk management and business continuity principles, including best practice in this area, coupled with demonstrable experience of developing and sharing risk management and business continuity policy and providing professional advice on risk management and business continuity. You should also have effective communication skills and a friendly and positive attitude. Working with busy teams, you will need to be able to prioritise your own workload, exercise initiative and work well under pressure.

You will be based at our Regent Street site and we have a Smart Working approach that allows for remote working in the UK when you are not required onsite.
