Corporate Partnerships Coordinator
Ref. 50051357

Salary: NG4 - £29,606 per annum (Incl.LWA)

Department: External Relations

Location: Central London

Do you have attention to detail? Are you organised and able to work on multiple tasks to tight deadlines? Are you confident in organising others? Do you have the ability to learn quickly? If so then this role may be for you.

The newly formed Corporate Partnerships Team (CPT), alongside four other teams (Development; Alumni Relations; Short Courses; and Contracts and Commercialisation) forms the External Relations Department. Together we deliver an integrated approach to the University’s relationships with its key external stakeholders.

The work of the Corporate Partnerships Team is multifaceted but largely focuses on developing strategic partnerships, generating income for the University from delivering business improvement services (Consultancy, Collaborative R&D or Contract Research) and Workforce Development Initiatives (Bespoke training programmes and Degree Apprenticeships)  and working with the Contracts and Commercialisation team to commercialise the University’s Intellectual Property.

As such, you will be expected, not only to form strong working relationships with academic, other professional service colleagues and prospective clients, but also to provide outstanding operational support to CPT colleagues in the administrative support requirements for the pre and post award aspects of their activities.

Whilst this post is to support the whole opportunity and delivery lifecycle, this role will largely be supporting the Corporate Partnerships Managers and academics in winning work for the University. Therefore, ideally, you will have had experience of contributing to the submissions of PQQ’s/ EOI’s, tender submissions and proposals.

You should also have experience of organising and coordinating ‘kick off’ and regular meetings to support the timely submission of high quality bids for work.

As this role will also support the Corporate Partnerships Managers in the successful delivery of a range of events, you should also have experience of organising the more logistical elements of events.
