This post is full time, 35 hours per week and is fixed term Maternity cover until June 2025. 

We are looking for an efficient and committed administrator to join our team within the Estates Planning & Services department.  The team is responsible for providing full administrative support, not only to internal services such as facilities, timetabling and project teams but also to the University’s colleagues, students, and visitors.  We are very focused on delivering excellent customer service at all times. 

You will be required to undertake a wide range of administrative tasks to support senior managers and other colleagues within the department, ensuring queries and tasks are dealt with in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy.  You will have experience of financial administration including processing requisitions from initial enquiry to passing payments and reconciling any queries that arise. You will also have experience of minute taking, so attention to detail and experience of maintaining accurate records is essential. 
 
Excellent MS office skills, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook are an essential requirement of the role.  You will be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.  Working as part of a small team, you will need to be able to priorities and organise your workload efficiently, with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.  

This post is based in our Central London office, Wells Street, but the department’s smart working arrangements provide opportunities for home working.
