The University of Westminster is seeking to appoint a Space Planner to assist in managing University space data and providing technical administration of building plans and CAD drawings.  With a vast and complex Estate of over 170,000m2, you will be part of the projects team helping to ensure the delivery of high quality and teaching and learning spaces that support our ambitious future plans.  

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, ambitious and experienced CAD technician/space planner to help ensure all space is planned and used efficiently and fit for purpose. Working on multiple projects you will have experience of undertaking space surveys to monitor the use of space, inputting space data and reporting on space usage including area, use, proposed and existing plans. 

You will be also required to assist with developing space planning of both office and academic teaching spaces. The role requires excellent attention to detail and methodical approach as well as a knowledge of current legislation in relation to space planning (e.g. H&S and fire regulations).  You will have experience of using AUTOCAD and maintaining and designing plans and layouts.
