Graduate School Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join the University’s Graduate School Registry, coordinating business critical activities that directly support our doctoral research students.  This role will be central in managing, monitoring and developing business processes that underpin the research student lifecycle from enrolment through to completion.

The Graduate School Coordinator will ensure that all business processes are successfully managed through the University’s Virtual Research Environment (VRE), and ensure that the University’s research degree regulations are followed through VRE workflows and monitoring.  The post holder will also provide administrative support to the Graduate School’s Research Degree Progression Committee.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who can work effectively with academic and professional support staff across the University to provide a high quality student focused service to our Graduate School community.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a wide range of administrative experience, preferably within a higher education registry setting.  Previous experience of research degree administration and/or of administering academic regulations and assessment procedures would be desirable. Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills.
