The Disability Learning Support (DLS) Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the Disability Learning Support team. The role will manage a service that delivers a high level of advice and support for our students, offers advice and guidance to staff regarding individual students, and to support ongoing development of inclusive practice and student success to the University.

The DLS Manager has responsibility for leading a team of Disability Advisers, SpLD advisers and a specialist Mentoring team.

Applicants will be expected to demonstrate evidence of the ability to provide effective leadership to and management of a small multi-disciplinary team in a similar environment.

We expect an excellent level of knowledge of broad disability issues, and substantial and up-to-date knowledge of the legal framework including the Equality Act 2010 and other relevant legislation and the ability to apply this within a University context.

The post holder will be based primarily at our New Cavendish campus. However, travel and work across all sites will be required.
