The Westminster Centre for Teaching Innovation (CTI) supports the University of Westminster’s commitment to high quality, forward looking and relevant learning and teaching as set out in the University Learning and Teaching Strategy. It includes a focus on student partnership, on cross-disciplinary learning and teaching, employability and the development of new curricular and pedagogical models, including foundation learning.
This position will play a key role in developing, delivering and operational management of Westminster Foundation Pathways for Level 3 students. This role will require the post holder to act as the primary point of contact for Westminster Foundation Pathways and take responsibility for Orientation activities, student progression and retention, timetabling and resourcing, and student recruitment activities. The post holder will work closely with a Foundation Retention Co-ordinator, supported by Course Administrators, to ensure a high-level of student support across Westminster Foundation Pathways.

The post holder will be an externally recognised scholar or teacher with an in-depth understanding of foundation level learning (Level 3) and take a leadership role in coordinating Westminster Foundation Pathways across the University. The post holder will be expected to develop and apply innovative and appropriate teaching techniques and materials, which ensure that interest, understanding and enthusiasm amongst the students are created. As an inspirational educator, the post holder will assume responsibility for ensuring that the University level provision under Westminster Foundation Pathways provides a transformative student experience for Level 3 learners.
