The University of Westminster was founded as Britain’s first polytechnic and celebrated its 175th anniversary in 2013. Since 1838, it has developed into a dynamic metropolitan university with around 19,000 undergraduate students and around 4,000 postgraduate students. 

The Global, Recruitment and Admissions team performs a vital function, driving core business, raising our profile and communicating to a complicated mix of audiences. In an increasingly competitive market both at home and abroad, we are seeking to appoint an ambitious, determined and effective professional to help provide a successful and driven service for the University.

You will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing our Student Ambassador Scheme as well as Outreach activity to UK schools and colleges, including relationships with our key institutions and audiences. The post will involve effective communications with prospective students as well as colleagues throughout the university to deliver engaging activities on a range of projects.

The ideal candidate will be a team player, excellent interpersonal skills, and able to work and deliver engagement activities to a diverse range of audiences including the use of student ambassadors in this work. The candidate should have experience and knowledge of the working in the UK education sector and all
aspects associated with going to university. Travel and out of hours work will be required in this role.
