International Partnerships Officer

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer focused professional to join the University’s International Recruitment and Partnerships Team.

You will make a major contribution to the implementation of the University’s Global Engagement Strategy with specific focus on partnership development and management activities. The post holder will provide professional support to external partners, to include academic institutions and university networks, as well as key internal stakeholders such as the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Global Engagement, the International Recruitment team, Admissions, Quality and Standards and academic colleagues with an international remit.  

You will be required to have strong interpersonal skills and to meet the challenges of a complex operating environment. This includes a track record in managing multiple projects to achieve results.  You will have a strong understanding of the HE operating environment, preferably within an international context. You should be able to demonstrate considerable experience of supporting colleagues in the development and management of projects or partnerships and a commitment to delivering high quality customer service.  

An understanding of inter-cultural business practices and an innovative approach to relationship management is desirable, as is familiarity with university course portfolio, admissions processes and systems. Experience of HE marketing or CRM systems would be beneficial.

The post is predominantly UK based but on occasion, you may be required to travel to support colleagues or to cover recruitment events overseas.
