There are 2 positions available. These posts are full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week. Shift working will be between 7am – 7pm; Monday – Saturday.  

The Estates Planning & Services department, within the University of Westminster, seek two Facilities Assistant to join the Estates Services team, providing direct support to colleagues, students and external customers.  This post has a number of duties which are all vital to the overall customer experience and operation of the University. 

You will have excellent communication skills and a friendly and helpful manner.  You will also have a flexible and organised approach to make the busy environment run efficiently, prioritisation skills are therefore important.  Knowledge of health and safety requirements is required as well as a basic level of computer literacy.  

This role is physically active and requires a large amount of lifting and moving furniture, together with providing support to the ‘Goods In’ area receiving deliveries.  An understanding of manual handling guidelines is also desirable.
