The University of Westminster has secured funding from the Quintin Hogg Trust (QHT) to develop a new programme of activities to transform the employability outcomes of our students and graduates.  We are seeking a new colleague to join us to develop, deliver and manage this new cross-university project. #

The Business Engagement Projects Manager will build new relationships with employers, business and industry to support the successful delivery of a programme of activities that better prepares our students and recent graduates for the workplace, to start their own business or develop a freelance career.  These activities will be part of the virtual phase of a new Centre for Employability and Enterprise at 29 Marylebone Road.

You will work with colleagues from across the University and the Student Union to ensure the successful delivery of the project.  You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a good understanding of employability, enterprise education and/or labour market trends.  You will be organised, have proven experience of project and budget management, and the ability to build, maintain and manage long-term relationships with business and community partners. 

You will have well developed influencing skills, with the ability to proactively solve problems and manage competing demands. You will have a commitment to providing high levels of customer service and stakeholder reporting and management.
