Working closely with the Graduate School Manager, you will lead the administration of doctoral progression and completion, manage the Virtual Research Environment PhD Manager module, and ensure compliance with university regulations and sector standards. You will oversee annual reviews, thesis submissions, examinations, and conferment, while driving improvements to processes and systems. This is a hands-on role where you will redesign workflows, enhance digital functionality, and support committees and complex doctoral researcher casework. Your insights will help shape policy and improve the researcher experience.
You will need a degree or equivalent experience, strong knowledge of doctoral administration and higher education regulations, and advanced digital skills, including Microsoft Office and data analysis. Experience with student record systems and committee servicing is essential. Accuracy, discretion, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload independently are key, along with excellent communication skills and a commitment to inclusion.
