Information Systems & Support deliver a comprehensive portfolio of IT services to the University’s user community of circa 20,000 students and colleagues across a number of sites in the West End of London and Harrow. Audio Visual (AV) services are one of the most critical elements of IT for the University, underpinning the teaching and learning of all of our students, across over 400 lecture theatres and classrooms onsite.

With a direct impact on the student and colleague experience, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our live AV services; supporting our onsite Service Desk and End User Support Teams with third-line expertise across the suite of AV services we provide; liaising with key academic colleagues to provide assurance; and managing the relationship with our external AV Support Partners. You will also work closely with our AV Design Lead, AV project teams, and colleagues in Estates, Planning & Services, to ensure new AV is designed with ongoing operation in mind.

We are looking for someone with significant experience of supporting critical AV services at scale. You should have a customer-oriented approach to service delivery and be able to demonstrate broad knowledge of a range of audio-visual systems, solutions, platforms, and architecture. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as well as experience of providing leadership and training to more junior team members.
