This post is full time, 35 hours per week and fixed term for one year. 

We are seeking to appoint a research assistant to assist the Centre of Nutraceutical research team in delivering a commercially funded project. This project is a part of research enterprise activities in the Centre for Nutraceuticals, University of Westminster. It is aimed at working towards the assessment and development of novel nutritional supplements. The project is anticipated to contribute significantly to knowledge in the field and to potentially lead to future external enterprise and innovation funding.

We are seeking a research assistant with a background in sports science/exercise physiology, such as cycling and experience of being involved in human research trials. The post holder will be expected to assist the Centre team and work alongside the research associate and centre directors in delivering this project. The post holder will conduct general research laboratory duties to ensure smooth day-to-day working by keeping track of consumable orders and costs, assisting in participant recruitment, processing of participant samples, and maintaining records and documentation.
