This post is full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week. 

We have an exciting opportunity to become part of a new Welcome and Arrivals unit, based within the Student Lifecycle team at the University of Westminster. The Student Lifecycle team supports our alumni services and has responsibility for the coordination and delivery of centrally based student administration for graduation, enrolment and welcome, module registration, examinations and certification and verification services. The Student Lifecycle team delivers large scale events for the University, managing and coordinating the events onsite in addition to the cycle of planning, review, and delivery each year. 

The Student Welcome Officer will manage the business processes for the planning and delivery of the University’s Welcome Programme for all new and continuing students. The Post-holder will work closely with the Student Welcome Senior Officer to deliver an integrated and inclusive student experience. 

Candidates should be educated to degree level or have equivalent skills, as well as experience of working in the higher education sector and with large records systems. Candidates would ideally have organised and supported the delivery of large events and worked collaboratively on projects with multiple stakeholders.
