There are four posts that are full time, working 35 hours per week and fixed term for up to 10 months. 

The College of Design, Creative and Digital Industries (DCDI) at the University of Westminster is seeking four 
Graduate Technicians to join our dynamic technical teams across multiple disciplines. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a higher education setting and develop your skills in a supportive and innovative environment.

As a Graduate Technician, you will work closely with the technical team to support students and staff within the Creative and Digital Media spaces. Your responsibilities will include assisting with workshops and inductions, maintaining equipment, ensuring safe usage of materials, managing material stores, and contributing to technician team meetings.

You will play a crucial role in enhancing the student experience by providing excellent technical support across various projects and courses. Your involvement will help ensure the smooth operation of our facilities, contributing to the high-quality teaching, research, and creative activities within the college. 

You will be a recent graduate with a good practical grasp of creative and digital media processes. You will be eager to engage with the creative and practical aspirations of students, guiding them appropriately in line with course learning outcomes and technical procedures. Your excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team will be essential in this role.
