This post is full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week.

We are excited to be recruiting for the new position of a Research and Knowledge Exchange Office Coordinator responsible for leading on the administrative co-ordination of our small and agile University’s central Research and Knowledge Exchange Office. We are looking for a self-motivated, pro-active candidate who will be able to manage the day-to-day business of our office, which consists of 22 FTE and supports research and knowledge exchange activities across the University.

The post holder will have proven administrative and events management and evaluation skills, preferably within a large and complex organisation, such as a Higher Education Provider. A successful candidate will also have worked with finance management software such as Agresso, Unit4 and will be adept at raising purchase orders and processing other financial transactions. Strong experience of Microsoft Office software programmes and packages such as Outlook, Word and Excel are also a requirement.
Evidence of experience in providing secretarial support for committees and working groups is also essential.

A familiarity with research information management systems and external reporting systems for research such as ResearchFish are desirable, but not essential.

The post is in the West End, London but the post holder may be expected to work at any of the University sites as required. We have a Smart Working approach that allows for some off-site working; it is expected that the post holder will be onsite for an average of two days per week at a minimum. Other arrangements are subject to agreement through our Flexible Working Policy and Procedure.
