We now have a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned communications professional to join our friendly team to cover maternity leave for our substantive Head of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs.

The post you’d be covering plays a leading role in how we tell our story to our audiences, developing the reputation of the University of Westminster as a welcoming, globally connected and diverse place to study, providing our students and colleagues with the opportunity to reach their full potential.

You will oversee our PR and Corporate Communications teams leading on our corporate communications including our COVID-19 response communications. Through media engagement, public affairs and internal communications, you will drive the daily information cycle across the University, engaging with our colleague, our student and our public audiences.

Reporting to the Director of Global Recruitment, Admissions, Marketing and Communications, as a member of our departmental Senior Management Team, you will work closely with our Vice-Chancellor’s Office, actively engaging in and sharing our progress in line with our inspirational Being Westminster Strategy. 
Using digitally-focused techniques, you will play a key role in shaping the communications culture and external perception of the University.
