This post is part-time and permanent, working 21 hours per week. The salary stated above is the pro-rata amount, the full time salary would be £35,061 to £39,284 per annum (Incl. LWA).

The Work Experience and Placement Coordinator will work closely with the Work Experience and Placement Officer, Recruiter Engagement Officer, two other Work Experience & Placement Coordinators and the Work Experience and Placement Administrator.
This is an important role that will involve working primarily with students, recent graduates and employers to coordinate and monitor work-based learning programmes, including local management of the delivery of the Explore Teaching Scheme. The role will also contribute to the wider operation of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences Placement team.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy team environment, general office duties and delivering a high standard of customer care. They will be able to demonstrate their excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside the ability to identify customer needs and manage relationships, whilst prioritising their workload effectively.
The postholder will be based primarily at our Cavendish campus, however, travel and work across all sites is required. Currently the team is working in a hybrid capacity.
