There are three posts available that are full time, 35 hours per week and fixed term for up to two years. The posts can be carried out on a part-time or flexible basis as per our smart working statement. These posts are available only to those who have completed their PhD at Westminster.
The Westminster Research Fellowships are designed to facilitate the University’s strategic aim of valuing difference and equity as key parts of its compassionate and inclusive community. Through positive action at all levels and in all areas of the institution, the University will continue to create and improve a culture and environment that enables improved diversity across the board.
This is primarily a research role however following agreement with the line manager other relevant academic activities within the School may be agreed.
The postholder will possess sufficient breadth or depth of specialist knowledge in the discipline and of research methods and techniques to work within established research programmes. The postholder will be expected to engage on a programme of continuous professional development (CPD).
The post holder will be expected to engage with and contribute to the Early / Mid-Career Network, the University’s research communities and any research groups and centres. They will build on their existing experience in research impact, knowledge exchange and public engagement to develop new ideas and external grant acquisition activities.
There is an expectation that there is a significant equality, diversity and inclusion dimension to the proposed projects.
