  • About The Post

  • This post is part-time, 14 hours per week and fixed term for 14 months. The salary stated above is the pro-rata amount, the full time salary would be £47,732 to £52,867 per annum (Incl. LWA). 

    We are looking for a part time Research Fellow with strong creative skills to provide support with media, communications and data visualisation to researchers working on the Leverhulme funded project ‘Social and spatial encounters over time: Revisiting Katharine Buildings’   The project explores how people lived with difference and inequality in the past though a focus on a social housing initiative in East London (Katharine Buildings) and involves analysing historical material from the 1880s and 1950s. The post will primarily involve working with the research team to design a project website, to lead on public engagement through social media dissemination and to assist with data visualisation and story telling strategies.

    The post holder will have experience of social media content production and website design. Ideally they will have applied knowledge of data visualisation software and experience of working across different mediums. They will have excellent communication skills including both academic and lay accessible written and verbal communication.
