In addition, the postholder will conduct face-to-face interviews and help with focus groups with patients and key stakeholders, to assess the acceptability, feasibility and outcomes of the service. Duties of the postholder will include conducting a literature reiew, qualitative data collection, analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, management of project data, and preparation of reports on findings.

Candidates should have a good honours degree and preferably a post-graduate degree in Psychology or cognate discipline relevant to project focus. Candidates will have experience in both qualitative and quantitative methods. Good communication and organisational skills are essential.

The successful candidate will work with Dr Tina Cartwright and Dr Anna Cheshire and be based in the Department of Psychology, in the Faculty of Science and Technology. The Department comprises over 40 academic staff and researchers, 2 technicians and a diverse, multicultural student population. There is a supportive research culture, with regular research seminars and an annual research forum.
