Fashion at the University of Westminster has an outstanding reputation for developing the designers of the future.  
We are implementing a radical redesign of fashion education that fully engages with the international fashion industry to ensure that our graduates are ready to address the wide range of issues that are facing our industry.   

Our BA Fashion Design course is the first undergraduate course in the world to show on schedule at London Fashion Week, and our MA Menswear course shows at London Fashion Week Men's in June.  

The MA Menswear course at the University of Westminster is the destination for the most creative, driven and original thinkers who will shape the contemporary menswear and design-based industries.  

The course provides students with a robust conceptual context for its teaching in design, underpinned with exceptional technical skills, combined with excellent industry contacts that ensures that our graduates have both the creative and commercial skills to enable them to flourish at the very top of the international fashion industry. 

The course is supported by the Westminster Menswear Archive which has over 1500 examples of the best menswear from the last 120 years including garments from Alexander McQueen, Craig Green, Stone Island, Tommy Nutter, Liam Hodges, Carol Christian Poell, C.P. Company, Jean Paul Gaultier, Calvin Klein, Meadham Kirchhoff, Kim Jones, Aitor Throup, Vivienne Westwood, Umbro, adidas, Belstaff, Burberry, Maison Margiela, Vexed Generation, and Comme Des Garcons.
Key to our graduates’ success is our world-class internship programme allows students to work within the fashion industry. Current examples of where students are interning include Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Craig Green, Maison Margiela, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Kenzo, Givenchy, Balenciaga, Thom Browne, Marc Jacobs, and Alexander Wang. 

We are seeking an inspirational and creative individual who is passionate about teaching menswear design; applicants should hold a higher degree in a relevant subject area, combined with an excellent fashion industry background, and has significant industry connections and experience in developing industry links for live projects. If successful, you will make a substantial contribution to employability through creating and maintaining relationships with industry at both national and international level. 

The ideal candidate should be able to work across a variety of different specialisms within the context of Menswear including tailoring, sportswear, graphics and print, and be able to adapt their teaching and approaches according to the needs of both the student and their design aesthetic.
