The University of Westminster is seeking an experienced and forward‑thinking Senior Manager to lead our Student Engagement, Enterprise and Insights function within the Business Engagement and Graduate Futures Directorate.

This role provides leadership and operational oversight for the University’s student enterprise, engagement, communications and insights activity. You will lead the development, delivery and continuous enhancement of communications initiatives that strengthen student and graduate participation, strengthen and further develop the University’s sector‑leading enterprise offer, and ensure that high‑quality data and insight inform decision‑making across the Directorate.

You will be joining us at an exciting time as we open Zone 29, our new home of careers and enterprise and will play an important role in helping us to create an inclusive community of freelancers, entrepreneurs and supporters and aligning student communications and student engagement activity to our Zone29-first approach.

You will lead and manage Westminster Enterprise Network (WeNetwork) our award‑winning student enterprise programme, in alignment with strategic plans for Zone 29.

You will oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of student communications and engagement initiatives designed to increase student participation in careers and enterprise opportunities at the University.

A central aspect of the role is responsibility for the effective collection, analysis and reporting of careers and enterprise engagement data, evidencing impact on student success and graduate employability, contributing to Westminster’s Access and Participation Plan and Graduate Outcomes. The insights generated will support strategic planning, enhance the support we provide to students, and maintain the University’s position as a sector leader in student enterprise and employability provision.

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience of leading enterprise teams and enterprise programmes, ideally within a higher education institution. You will have demonstrable experience in managing and evaluating careers and/or enterprise programmes to drive increased engagement from students and graduates and support continuous improvement; as well as strong leadership and operational management skills, with experience of managing and mentoring high‑performing teams.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the experience and future success of Westminster students and to contribute to the ongoing development of sector‑leading careers and enterprise programmes.

We are looking for candidates who are able to start as soon as possible and ideally, no later than 1st June 2026.

We will also consider secondment options from within the University of Westminster or other HEIs, subject to meeting the requirements of the role.
