This post is full-time, 35 hours per week and is fixed-term until 6 July 2027. Internal secondments will be considered.

In support of this strategic aim, our Careers and Enterprise Team, part of the Business Engagement and Graduate Futures Directorate, is seeking a Careers Consultant to work with recent Graduates on Early Careers Support.
A key responsibility of the job will be to design, develop and deliver a programme of activities for each graduating cohort, with extended support for 3 years after graduation, in conjunction with the Senior Manager, Employability and Careers Services and colleagues in the Alumni and External Engagement team.
The post holder will deliver careers education, information and guidance to students and graduates (UG and PG) through individual consultations, interactive group sessions, lectures, online ICT provision and outreach activities at University sites and/or online.
The successful candidate should have a degree, or equivalent practical experience in any discipline. A relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent practical experience is also essential. Experience of working in a careers department in Higher Education is desirable.
