This post is full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week 

Westminster School of Arts (WSA) are seeking an ambitious Senior Lecturer to work as Course Leader on our successful undergraduate BA in Fashion Marketing and Promotion Course. 

This post requires someone with specific expertise in the creative fashion marketing and /or trend management field with a strong awareness of the volatile nature of the fashion business. You must have practical experience within a fashion environment, and a professional and academic profile commensurate with this stage of your career. 

You will have experience in developing and delivering teaching and student-centred learning, with a robust knowledge of fashion marketing practice surrounding the translation of ideas and concepts into fashion brands, campaigns, and products. Strong awareness of the impact of the digital environment surrounding creative fashion marketing is required,  

Essential to this role are excellent administrative, planning, and organisational skills, as you will take responsibility and lead in areas such as admissions, timetabling, assessment of student progress and attendance. You will collaborate with colleagues on the implementation of assessment procedures, contributing towards the accreditation of the BA FMP course and quality control. You will also be expected to contribute to the strategic direction of other new course development across the wider fashion area in the School of Arts. 

The ability to engage in current debates, and familiarisation with standards and regulations towards awareness of diversity and ethical issues as they relate to fashion marketing and promotion will also be expected. You will possess an excellent understanding of quality and standards in HE and curriculum development in the field of fashion. 

Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy or a PG Cert HE is essential to this position.
